About Renal Medicine Associates

Renal Medicine Associates provides nephrology care to patients in various communities in New Mexico. (Nephrology deals with kidney diseases, high blood pressure, and related problems). We are based in the Albuquerque area, where we are the only private practice, single-specialty group of nephrologists. RMA now also provides nephrology services in Clovis, Las Cruces, Los Lunas, and Roswell.

Our practices include adults and children with all forms of kidney diseases. All physicians in RMA are Board Certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine.

RMA physicians are medical directors at seven dialysis clinics operated by Fresinius Medical Care of North America, providing End Stage Renal Disease care for approximately 500 patients in the Albuquerque, Clovis, Las Cruces, Los Lunas, and Roswell areas.

RMA has worked closely with Presbyterian Hospital Systems in Albuquerque since 1984 in the Presbyterian Kidney Transplant Program , a very active and highly successful program, and the most rapidly growing kidney transplant program in New Mexico.
